Tell me about it!
(More contact with the alumni office seems to entail more requests for money.)
When I wanted to get the records from my small, private, high school, they had this attitude of "Well, its been 7 years already. What do you mean you are just beginning to attend a real college (UC Davis, if anyone is taking notes)? Why didn't you do this years ago? Why can't you afford to send us money now?"
The answer, of course, is that my small, private, high school is the best argument against the Voucher system I have ever seen. It nearly had its accreditation yanked (they ended up with a 2 year extension. The standard is 6 years). But because it is both A) Catholic, and B) has a football team which has literally not lost since I was a freshman, somehow parents keep sending their students to that school...
Alas, the big, public, high school my sister attended turned out to be a much better educational experience...
